June 30: Five active COVID-19 cases remaining in Sarnia-Lambton

Sarnia-Lambton’s number of active COVID-19 cases fell by one to five Monday, Lambton public health reported.

The total number of cumulative confirmed COVID-19 cases remained at 285. That figure hasn’t changed since June 21.

Of those, 255 cases have been resolved.

There have been 25 COVID-19 deaths but none since June 6.

Of the 12,228 test results received to date, 2.3 per cent have been positive for COVID-19, public health officials said.

There is one current outbreak, at Afton Park Place in Sarnia. The outbreak began June 18 after a single staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
